As promised, here are a few photos dating back to our eve of New Year's eve dinner at Tian Men Hua Yuen in Johor Bahru to the little gathering on New Years eve.

Michelle Lek and me on the bus to Kranji MRT station where Casey and Shian Pin are ALREADY waiting. Yeah..we ended up 30 mins late..hence the resolution :P

B1 (left) and B2 (right) posing in JB. Hahaha.

Michelle and Shian Pin posing in JB as well

We binged. Yes BINGE. This was half time. We ordered a grad total of another 3 dishes which haven't arrived yet.

This was after we died from binging. The overall amount of food ate was in this order. Round of applause please...
1. BIL Soon Ming Liang Casey
2. BIL Yeo (Ian)
3. 'Da Jie' Michelle Lek
4. Uncle Quek Shain Pin
PS: Look at the amount of 'carnage' we left behind. Kiasu singaporeans? Haha. RM200 leh. And the quote of that day was from Casey "I know I can do it (finish the last prawn), its just whether I want to or not". And he did finish the prawn.

New Years Eve gathering at my place. The tall guy beside me is Daniel and the black guy hiding behind Shian Pin is Joo Soon

I was totally stressed because there was ZERO preparations done. That was me after I finished preparing the garlic breads.

A rather unique BBQ you might say. It is so convinient and works so well, I never ever wantt o use the big BBQ pit by the poolside ever again

The charcoal was so hot........and the person cooking (exact culprit still at large) so skill-less, my garlic bread ended up like this and eventually into the rubbish bin $#@%!%@

We catered for 10 people because we expected 8 people to turn up. Since only 6 people turned up, we couldn't even finish half the food. Surprising since Joo Soon, Casey and me probably have the appitite of 5 men....Anyways, we had one LARGE tray on UNTOUCHED homecooked fried rice courtesy of Shian Pin's mom. How best to finish it? You got it...Indian Poker.

Overall loser after a few rounds of Poker, Joo Soon, Casey and me (from left to right). Sighzzzzzzzz. And if you actually needed evidence...

Michelle and my sister

The last round of food. This desert concoction was a joint effort between yours truely and Casey. A very heavy mixture of lychee in HEAVY syrup, Longan in HEAVY syrup and Nata de Coco. It actually tasted pretty good even though we were akk dying from over-eating.

Misc photo there. Me spring cleaning my room.
